A long time ago I needed a quick and easy alphabet to add to those ready made towels and bibs that have a band of aida to stitch on. Something that would look good both on the front and back… And so the “checker alphabet” was born.

By changing the colours it can fit just about any occasion. Its easy, quick and looks really cute!

Fabric: suitable for aida, linen or even weave.
Stitches: cross stitch only
Pattern size: 23 x ?? stitches (width depends on the words you decide to stitch).

Model Details: Stitched on a ready-made bib with an Aida band, using 2 strands of DMC floss for all stitching.
